Labor Day nudges us to appreciate the workers behind the scenes, washing the floors and the dishes and scrubbing the bathtubs and sink. But then we forget and go on with our lives.

In honor of Labor Day, we’ve compiled the most outrageous and memorable labor scenes depicted on film and television. Given the bloody nature of delivery, birth scenes are popular in horror.
