Neil Frank, celebrated meteorologist, dies at 94, KHOU reports

KHOU former chief meteorologist Neil Frank has died, the Houston news station announced. Frank, 94, served as director of the National Hurricane Center from 1974 through 1987 and then joined KHOU's weather team where he remained until retirement in 2008.
