There's a big new update on KPop Demon Hunters 2 from the director of the movie itself, and it's worthing hearing.

While this article originally suggested that there was a slim possibility KPop Demon Hunters 2 might not be a Netflix exclusive, sources tell Polygon that there is zero chance of this happening. Netflix owns the distribution rights to the franchise and any sequel would be a Netflix exclusive.

Netflix is hosting the special two-day event in North America over the Aug. 22-24 weekend but, in keeping with tradition, doesn't plan on reporting grosses even if it tops the box office chart.
