A 23-year-old cyclist from Orange Park was killed Saturday night in a crash in Clay County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Since January, fifth grade students in Clay County have been testing their engineering skills to build a functional Rube Goldberg Machine. On Friday, they finally put them to the test at the Rube Goldberg Engineering Showcase.

A student at Ridgeview High School was arrested and accused on Thursday of having a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol in his car, which was parked on school grounds, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said.

The school’s administration and school resource officer received a tip that the student may have a firearm in his vehicle.

Wren Garrett, 39, has been arrested on a second-degree murder charge after a 2-year-old injured in 2018 died in 2025 from neurological defects.
