Arduino has today announced the availability of the latest Arduino IDE in the form of version 1.6.6 which has now been released and is available to download.

Arduino has today announced via the official Arduino blog that the latest Arduino IDE 1.6.10, AVR core 1.6.12 and SAM core 1.6.9 have now been released and are now available to download.

Download and install the Processing and Arduino software if you haven't already. You also need to download the Arduino compatible USB drivers so your machine can properly interface with the Arduino.

The popular developer system Arduino has reached the version 1.0 milestone, marking its first official release.
