Cameron Young is finally a PGA Tour winner. The former Rookie of the Year dominated the field all week at Sedgefield Country Club to runaway with a six-shot victory at the 2025 Wyndham Championship.

Young grew up at Sleepy Hollow and piled up wins on the home front. At the age of 14, he became the youngest winner of the Westchester Amateur. Young won the Ike Championship in 2015 and 2016 and the New York State Open in 2017 at Bethpage Black, where he carded a final-round 64. He was the Met Player of the Year in 2015.

Now all eyes will turn to the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, which marks the first of three playoff events. The top 70 golfers in the standings after the Wyndham Championship earned entry into the postseason. Then, after the first stop, the top 50 golfers in the standings will earn a spot in the BMW Championship the following week.
