After beginning the season in the Mexican League, former Detroit Tigers lefty Andrew Vasquez is reportedly set to sign a minor-league deal with the Los Angeles Angels. Vasquez has served as the closer for Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos in 2025 and caught fire. Through 7 2/3 innings Vasquez allowed three unearned runs while securing a trio of saves.
