Texas volleyball now knows its path toward a third straight national championship. Seeded 11 th overall, the Longhorns will open the NCAA Tournament as the No. 3 seed in top-seeded Penn State’s side of the bracket.

The Longhorns were awarded a No. 3 seed in the 64-team tournament and will open against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Gregory Gym. UT Arlington and sixth-seeded Southern California will play at 4 p.

DALLAS — 64 teams will compete for the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship, and nine hail from the great state of Texas! Of those nine, five were seeded: Texas, Texas A&M, SMU, TCU and Baylor. The unseeded teams are UT Arlington, UTEP, Texas State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
