Carlos Tavares is a self-confessed petrol head who turned around Peugeot but fell victim to a global EV downturn at Stellantis.

CEO Carlos Tavares has stepped down from his position.  In a Stellantis press release, the company said the Board of Directors accepted Tavares resignation, adding "in recent weeks different views have emerged which have resulted in the Board and the CEO coming to today's decision.
