The Denver Broncos (14-3) fell to the New England Patriots (14-3) in the AFC Championship game at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday afternoon. The Broncos put up a valiant fight, but in the end, their season came to a close on a snowy January night.

Even the NFL playoffs weren't exempt from the extreme winter weather that battered much of the U.S. this past weekend. As the Patriots and Broncos started the fourth quarter of the AFC Championship, the conditions in Denver deteriorated rapidly.
