Organizers of the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival revealed the event’s full lineup Tuesday. Writer/director Michael Gracey’s “Better Man” will open the festival, which includes 158 films from 71 countries.

The Palm Springs Film Festival has announced its 2025 lineup including opener Better Man and closer The Penguin Lessons.

The 36th annual edition, scheduled for Jan. 2-13, will screen 158 films from 71 countries including 68 premieres and a special spotlight on international films and the works of Pedro Almodóvar.

The lineup for the 36th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival was released on Tuesday. The festival will open on Thursday, January 2 with the Robbie Williams' biopic, "Better Man" directed by Michael Gracey.
