Neighbours gets goal, assist for St. Louis; Washington loses 2nd straight in regulation for 1st time since mid-December

Philip Broberg scored twice to help the St. Louis Blues beat the Washington Capitals 5-2 on Thursday night, inching closer to the final playoff spot in the Western Conference and handing the top team in the East a rare second loss in a row.

The St. Louis Blues rolled into Washington, D.C. and handed the Washington Capitals only their second back-to-back home loss of the season. The blue line largely powered the Blues’ offensive effort.
