Alabama football saw an unexpected former player come off the board late in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Seattle Seahawks selected Crimson Tide tight end Robbie Ouzts with the 175th overall pick, in the fifth round of the draft. Ouzts was largely expected to go undrafted. He was the first Alabama tight end to be selected.

The Seahawks are armed with 10 picks in the 2025 NFL draft after all their wheeling-and-dealing this offseason. Of those, six fall into the first four rounds, giving Seattle a chance to continue reshaping their roster. They acquired Picks 52 and 223 from Pittsburgh in exchange for Metcalf, while Pick 92 came from the Raiders in the Smith deal.
