(Reuters) -Waves of Russian drones and missiles struck districts across the Ukrainian capital Kyiv early on Tuesday, damaging an apartment building, sparking fires and injuring up to 16 people, city officials said.
A fresh wave of Iranian missiles were launched at northern Israel, Israel Defense Forces said in a statement. Israel's emergency services said there are no reports of any casualties, aside from some isolated incidents of injuries as people raced to bomb shelters.

The IDF spokesperson also confirmed it struck Yemen Saturday night, targeting a Houthi leader, but cannot confirm whether the strike was successful. There were also projectiles fired from Yemen overnight toward Israel, according to the spokesperson.
The U.S. military is operating in the air, on land and at sea to shoot down Iranian missiles fired at Israel.
