D.C. police are investigating after a person was shot overnight in Southeast. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the shooting happened around 1:14 a.m. in the 4300 block of E Street.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after officers shot and killed a dog they say charged at them, biting one, in Northwest D.C. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened in the 6700 block of Piney Branch Rd. around 6 p.m.

D.C. police have identified the man who died after he was stabbed in Northwest on Sunday. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), on Dec. 8, just after 5:30 p.m., officers responded to an alley in the back of the 1700 block of Columbia Road for a stabbing.
