The Minnesota Vikings are having arguably the most disappointing season of any team in the NFL. The team moved on from starting quarterback Sam Darnold in the offseason after he played his two worst games of the season against the Detroit Lions in the battle for the first seed and in the playoffs against the Los Angeles Rams.

Despite the late-season injury, the Vikings are not placing McCarthy on injured reserve. He missed the second half of Sunday's 16-13 victory against the New York Giants with the hand injury, and completed 9 of 14 passes for 108 yards and one interception.
Though the Vikings didn’t actually practice on Monday afternoon at TCO Performance Center, they are required by the NFL to release an estimated injury report. They listed McCarthy as a non participant with a right hand injury, which, in turn, raises questions about his availability moving forward.

Wilson sprained his knee in his return to the active roster in Week 10 and is set to miss "three-to-four weeks." He was placed on injured reserve and is eligible to return in Week 15. Head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters Monday that he did not have an update on Wilson's potential return from injured reserve.
