Jake DeBrusk was a polarizing player in Boston, but did the Bruins make a mistake letting him sign with the Canucks in NHL free agency?

Jake DeBrusk has experienced almost everything one possibly could playing hockey in Boston. Except for being part of the visiting team, that is. DeBrusk will get that chance Tuesday night when he and the Vancouver Canucks play the Boston Bruins at TD Garden in what will be his first game back in the city where he began his NHL career.

The Vancouver Canucks (10-6-3) continue their six-game road trip with a stop at TD Garden to face the Boston Bruins (10-9-3). This game will feature plenty of familiar faces, such as Jake DeBrusk, Danton Heinen,

DeBrusk is also returning to TD Garden red-hot, as he had two goals and an assist in his last game against fellow former Bruin Linus Ullmark and the Ottawa Senators. In addition, he has five goals and nine points over his last 10 contests.

Jake DeBrusk has his best game yet since signing for the Canucks in the offseason, with the underlying promise that he's still capable of so much more.
