It's Giving Tuesday, a global movement to inspire charitable giving and help others as we celebrate the holidays. The Salvation Army is one of those charities asking for support. Major Caleb Senn is the Chicago Area Commander of the Salvation Army and he joined the WGN Evening News to discuss the season of giving.

WABASH VALLEY (WTHI)—Many nonprofits, including the Salvation Army, are hoping for a boost in donations this Giving Tuesday. The Salvation Army’s Indiana Division has set a goal of raising $40,000 during the annual day of giving. The nonprofit says the funds will help sustain essential programs throughout the coming year.
