Rocket launch of SpaceX Falcon 9 lights up Florida sky Wednesday
The Falcon 9 rocket took off on time at 5:13 a.m., lighting up the early morning sky as it flew on a southeast trajectory. Just over eight minutes later, the well-traveled Falcon 9 first stage landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship, which was waiting in the Atlantic Ocean.

CAPE CANAVERAL SPACE FORCE STATION, Fla. — A rocket launched over Florida on Wednesday morning. According to SpaceX, Falcon 9 launched 24 Starlink satellites into Earth's low orbit. The rocket launched at 5:13 a.m. from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

SpaceX launches post-midnight rocket from Cape Canaveral on Starlink mission
Taking off at 12:12 a.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40, the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket disappeared into the night sky. Eight and a half minutes after the lift off, the first stage booster landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship out on the Atlantic Ocean.
