The top Taliban leader has slammed President Donald Trump’s travel ban on Afghans, calling the United States an “oppressor.”

Tehran on Saturday blasted U.S. President Donald Trump'stravel ban on countries including Iran, saying it showed "deep hostility" toward Iranians and Muslims.

President Trump has issued a travel ban blocking the entry of foreign nationals from 12 countries and partially restricting travel from seven others.

Immigrant advocates and some Democratic state attorneys general said they are examining the new restrictions for potential legal action.

"It's very unfortunate, sad news," Abdulhakem Alsadah, president of the Dearborn-based National Association of Yemeni Americans, Behavioral Health & Community Social Services, told the Free Press Thursday,
