Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones was impressed with George Pickens' play against the Las Vegas Raiders in their win on Monday night.

Cowboys insider Jon Machota of The Athletic reported that Jones affirmed that he's willing to spend big bucks to keep Pickens around, even though he's already committed more than $60 million a year to defensive tackles.

Dallas Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens noticeably weren't on the field to open Monday night's game. Lamb and Pickens sat out the first series of a 33-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

CeeDee Lamb is thought to be a possible trade candidate for the Dallas Cowboys, with George Pickens now looking like their WR1.

As it stands, the Cowboys are 4-5-1, 10 th in the NFC standings. With seven teams making the postseason, the Cowboys’ chances of qualifying are slim. The Athletic projects the Cowboys’ odds of making it at 10%. If the Cowboys beat the Eagles on Sunday, it would jump to 18%.
