Rockets ownership is in substantive talks with the Connecticut Sun over the potential purchase and relocation of the WNBA franchise to Houston, sources told ESPN.

After months of uncertainty, the Mohegan Tribe is reportedly nearing a deal to sell the Connecticut Sun to Houston Rockets ownership.

ESPN reports conversations have been “positive,” and Rockets ownership recently increased its bid to a level the Sun may accept.

The off season is faring well for Connecticut Suns players as many have taken to the court overseas to continue to play. While the players aren’t worried about
