Carol Cameron was stabbed 62 times by her only child while he was high on a psychadelic drug. Callum will remain in prison for at least 20 years.

When paramedics arrived, and as she tried to coax him to go with them to hospital, he took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her 62 times. Cameron, who was 27 at the time of the attack, pleaded not guilty to murder and had tried to argue he had committed manslaughter because he was high on DMT and magic mushrooms at the time.
