Mayor Paul Young announced Tuesday that he has ended Ty Coleman’s appointment as the Director of Memphis Animal Services effective immediately. Coleman was originally appointed interim director during the previous administration and confirmed as director in January 2024.

Coleman had been on paid leave since June when a dog died in the sweltering heat outside of Memphis Animal Services.

The city of Memphis has terminated the appointment of Ty Coleman, the director of Memphis Animal Services, the city confirmed Tuesday. The application for the director position of MAS will be posted on the city's human resources portal within the week,

Though it started out pretty chill, over the years, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp steadily became bloated with monetization. There were all kinds of things to spend real money on, including loot boxes for unlocking rare items.
